Energy storage technologies are increasingly important to provide solutions to address power quality disturbances (e.g. voltage sags, interruptions), to provide a smooth and reliable integration of large scale intermittent renewable energy systems, as well as to support the improvements and advances in the electric mobility systems and specifically the Electric Cars. The tutorial will address a comprehensive set of existing and emerging technologies which can be used for the above mentioned applications. The tutorial is of interest to power quality professionals,   to power systems planners, equipment designers and operators,  as well as to energy specialists.
