4.6.4. Motors

 

Two relays are used to control motors that operate in two directions (roll-down shutters, curtains, sunblinds, etc): a single-pole relay to connect the motor to the power supply, and a relay with a make-and-break contact to determine the direction of rotation. Most integrated home systems use motor control modules to which a number of motors can be connected. We can present this in the following way.
