Andreas Sumper from CITCEA, The Centre of Technological Innovation in Static Converters and Drives, which belongs to the Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC) presents this center of research and innovation.
Its main activities are electrical and electronic equipment mechatronical applications, control of electrical machines, renewable energy and management of power systems.
CITCEA develops education activities like a Masters in Mecatronics, and was the organizer of EPQU'07 Conference in Barcelona WTC. Andreas Sumper shares the experience of this team for any interested organizers of scientific conferences, and one particular key to success that he identifies is a relationship with industry.
