A challenge to politicians: talk a minute about energy efficiency without using the term 'Compact Fluorescent Lamp'
By Hans De Keulenaer / Published on Wed, 2007-07-25 20:40From The Dems Talk Energy, about last night’s Democratic campaign debate, we really look forward to the first politician who will talk about energy efficiency without mentioning CFLs. While CFL is undoubtedly a success story, domestic lighting is only a fraction of domestic electricity use, which is a fraction of domestic energy use, which is in turn a fraction of national energy use.
So, we look forward to the other 98% being addressed.
This being said, we should probably count our blessings that energy efficiency comes up at all in a political debate.

INDEED!
