CITCEA-UPC have expertise in mechatronics and enertronics fields, with a special incidence in power electronics and digital control.

The centre has a great knowledge of industrial needs, as well as technology transfer and implementation in the industrial field. This allows the development of turnkey projects for a great number of industrial sectors. The projects are supported until the stage of industrialization.

Objectives

The main objective of the CITCEA is to introduce innovation to the industry and to provide high technology solutions for the changing technological needs of the market, especially for the small and medium sized companies.

The activities of the centre are located in the following areas:

• Technology transfer through the management and the realization of projects for the development and technological innovation.


• Assessment of the companies and administration through the realization of technical studies focused on enterprise processes, markets and products.


• Provision of customised training for companies through the Master in Mechatronics and a big variety of professional courses.


• Participation in national and European programs of research, development and innovation.
