Distributed Energy Sources and Power Quality. Energy Storage Systems

The fifth course in the comprehensive programme on power quality covers the subject of distributed energy sources in the context of power quality and energy storage systems.

The knowledge acquired during the course should be sufficient for:

  • identification of the distortion nature
  • distortion source identification
  • disturbance assessment by means of measuring
  • evaluation of technical effects of disturbance
  • proposing remedial measures

The course should take about 20 hours for participants with an electrical engineering background. Participants are expected to finish the course by July 5th, 2010.
