Strategies for development and diffusion of Energy Efficient Distribution Transformers
Submitted by Hans De Keulenaer on Fri, 2006-11-10 12:19.
Summary
The aim of the SEEDT project is to increase awareness of market actors and to suggest strategies which will promote the choice of energy efficient DTs, so that the aforementioned potential for energy savings is achieved. Market actors, such as decision makers, salesmen and engineers, will be brought together in round table discussions and meetings in all participating countries as well as on EU level.Strategies will include proposals for labelling, mandatory standard or voluntary agreement, and development of different dissemination mechanisms, to address energy efficiency in DT to the manufacturers and different DT users like utilities, industries, tertiary buildings managers, energy managers. Decision support tools and information material developed within the current work, will help interested users, in substantiating their choice for energy efficient transformers.
The SEEDT project also publishes a newsletter. Click here to download the first issue.
