Given the complexity of today’s energy sector, accurate information is never superfluous. For the past nine years the publishing company PennWell has published the Renewable Energy World magazine. It is a bi-monthly magazine usually containing ten longer background articles and thirty to forty short news flashes from all over the world. The main themes are biomass, wind power, photovoltaic power, renewable heat, renewable transport fuels, and policy and finance.
A significant amount of attention is dedicated to recently realized projects, reporting on, for example, the Beatrice off-shore wind farm in the North Sea, solar panels integrated in New York City’s skyline, and an electrification project in the Indian Sunderbans.
Subscription to the magazine is free. An archive of former articles can be found on their Web site.
