The BBC has produced a computer game, available online, in which you, being president of Europe, can decide on climate related policies for the next decades. You have to be careful not only in balancing the resources, but also guarding your popularity to stay in office. An interesting element is that you also participate in climate negotiations and have some means to persuade other world-leaders to join your efforts.
Good luck, Mr or Ms President!

a good education tool
By Hans De Keulenaer / Published on Wed, 2007-03-07 8:26 Not as time-intensive as I had expected, so well worth a try. A good tool to highlight the many complex issues involved. The danger though is that it leaves out quite a few energy options, and the tool may be considered biased in the choices it has retained. But overall, these kind of tools are needed to stimulate deeper thinking on energy.Reply
