Internet surfers searching for information on renewable energy or energy efficiency have a new gateway at their disposal. In January, the Reegle Web site went live. Reegle makes use of the most important Internet sources in the sector, of knowledge partnerships, as well as its own database. It has global coverage and provides specific country details.
Reegle contains:
-
An Actors Catalogue, being a directory of organizations involved in the sector
-
A Search by Category function, allowing users to find information on specific (sub-)sectors, countries, and types of information
-
An Intelligent Search function, providing closely related topics to help users refine their searches
REEGLE is a joint initiative of REEEP (renewable energy & energy efficiency partnership) and REN 21 (Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century).
