Geothermal Cooling.....[Spain]

GEOTHERMAL COOLING - I read through the website of a company that provides or basically installs Geothermal Energy Systems for cooling and heating purpose.

Can anyone tell me just how this technology works. I would also like to know what the efficiency level is like. Where is it being used. Who manufactures....] For instance a typical Solar Energy panel is at about 15 percent.

I suppose you refer to heat pumps. To avoid problems of low temperature in northern cold climates to use the ground pipes as hot or cold carnot focus references. The efficency is the ussual in heat pumps, coefficient of performance COP near 3,5. (More than 100%).

The following site has information about a technology that is suited for individual homes and buildings. It will significantly reduce energy demand for HVAC. I'm not sure if this source can supply the data you requested, but it does have a lot of useful information.
