A visit in the wizard's energy technology workshop
By Hans Nilsson / Published on Fri, 2006-08-25 05:41You know the feeling! Someone picks up the subject of science-fiction like technology and you are not quite sure if they pull your leg or are telling the truth. But it is always fun to speculate a bit. One such look into the wizard's workshop comes from the Wired Magazine. And several of the cases told will certainly not reach the market in the form they are told but their origin is the MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, so the likelihood for function is high. And there is more where these stories come from in the MIT news section on energy.
But there are also interesting workshops (with slightly different wizards) at Stanford Business school where entrepreneurs have worked specifically to find ways to use and market LED-technology. For these students reaching the market is a goal in itself and their experiences may be particularly interesting.
