Label accurately or be fined!
By Hans Nilsson / Published on Wed, 2006-10-04 05:45Energy labelling means money - Literarily so! In Australia shipments of air-conditioners have been mislabelled and the supplier has now been forced to pay back to the customer a rebate. This compensation is amounting in total to more then 3 million AUD for 15000 units sold.
The company will further have to upgrade its trade services and testing programmes to be able to comply with the standards. A strong message on behalf of the customers and the environment!
