Sergio Ferreira is an Electricity & Energy Project Manager at the European Copper Institute in Brussels where he works with ecodesign and energy efficiency. He is a Master in Environmental Engineering, graduating in 2004 from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.

He has developed work in a lobbying organisation and the European Commission, DG Energy and Transport, where he was working with energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. His current interests are energy efficiency, ecodesign, sustainable energy and new and renewable energy sources. Sergio wrote over 50 articles on Leonardo ENERGY.
