Meeus, leonardo
By Hans De Keulenaer / Published on Sun, 2006-11-12 15:50Leonardo Meeus received the M.S. degree in commercial engineering in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2006, both from the K.U.Leuven, Belgium. Currently, he is a senior researcher of the K.U.Leuven Electric Energy Research Group ELECTA. His research interests include liberalization, security of supply and sustainability. He is also the scientific coordinator of the KULeuven Energy Institute (EI) and the European Energy Institute (EEI). Since 2006, he is the chairman of the CIGRE Task Force C5-7.1 on generation and network capacity investment incentives in electricity markets. He is also a Member of IEEE.
