    Jovica Milanovic received Dipl.Ing. and m.Sc. degrees from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and Ph.D. degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia, all in electrical engineering. Since January 1998, he is with the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester (formerly UMIST), UK where he is currently professor.
