Overvoltages and Transients

The eighth course in the comprehensive programme on power quality covers the subject of overvoltages and transients.

The knowledge acquired during the course should be sufficient for:

  • identification and description of overvoltages and transients
  • understanding the overvoltage phenomena and their sources
  • measurement interpretation
  • applying mitigation techniques

The course should take about 30 hours for participants with an electrical engineering background.

Enrolment for this course (PQ04) is open. Please join Academy here
