Rob Smit is consultant and project manager with more than 10 years experience in the field of energy generation, energy savings and environmental protection. He has a large experience in policy and implementation projects in the area of combined heat and power generation and sustainable energy production. He was involved in policy, priority and feasibility studies for the development of energy savings and the application heat supply and demand. The work has been performed by order of the local and regional authorities, energy companies and industry. Prior to KEMA he has worked from 1997 till 2001 at COGEN Projects in The Netherlands and executed several technical and financial feasibility studies in the area of combined heat and power generation. He has experiences with implementation and administration of national legislation. Further he prepared various policy papers and has presented several CHP papers on workshops and conferences to disseminate and to promote cogeneration in Europe and was also a lecturer in small scale CHP and heat distribution.
