Andreas Sumper Graduated as a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.−Ing.) at the Technical University of Graz, Austria, in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, he was an international project manager in the private industry. In 2002, he joined the Centre for Technological Innovation in Static Converters and Drives (CITCEA) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain), where he is currently completing his PhD. At CITCEA, he is executing research and innovation projects with the local industry in the field of power quality. His research interests are power quality, power system reliability and distributed generation.
