This blog was started in July 2005 with a few humble posts. Now, 539 articles later, we complete our second year of operation with a special thank you to our readers and authors.
A few more statistics: all top 50 articles have over 1,000 hits and, over the past 12 months, the Sustainable Energy Blog has been visited over 120,000 times.
We're proud to have become a comprehensive reference for sustainable energy professionals. You will always find the hottest and newest here, because the Leonardo ENERGY team sifts through hundreds of stories every day to find new developments. A prime selection of these are bookmarked in our diigo group on energy. After reviewing these entries, a second selection of these stories finally finds its way as qualified information to the blog.

The SE Blog aims to be a bridge between energy technology, policy and markets. It broadens rather than deepens knowledge of sustainable energy professionals, helping them to understand and formulate issues to be subsequently solved. Its recipe is:
In two years, the SE Blog has covered most of the basics on sustainable energy. In its third year, the SE Blog will focus more on action at individual, corporate, local, national and regional levels. We would also like to cover more case studies on sustainable energy in practice. Finally, we'd appreciate more discussion with our users.
