UPS today are increasingly being used when organisations need protection from a variety of power disturbances. But what are these disturbances? And how do you go about choosing a UPS? In this presentation - the first in a series of 3 on secure power offered by MGE UPS Systems, we intend to answer these questions by defining the disturbances against which loads need protecting, by describing the key points of the UPS standards and by explaining more about the three types of UPS described in these standards.
This Webcast ends with recommendations on how the topologies require a design suitable for the particular application that is being protected. We will also cover briefly the subject of rotary UPS.Log in to post comments
