Environmental Performance of Cables, Motors and Transformers

In this web event, the principle of an ecodesign toolbox has been presented and demonstrated. The toolbox allows to produce parametrised life-cycle assessment for various types of electrical equipment, such as motors, transformers and cables. Environmental impact for the 'big 6' impact categories can be compared for up to 3 design alternatives. The toolbox allows among others to assess the greenhouse gas reduction impact over the lifecycle for increasing the efficiency.
