Wetzer, Jos
By Hans De Keulenaer / Published on Fri, 2006-12-22 10:08Jos M. Wetzer (born August 21, 1955) from the Netherlands is principal consultant 'Ageing Assets' with KEMA, Arnhem, The Netherlands. He is also a part-time professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, engaged with Condition Assessment of Electrical Infrastructures. He obtained a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Technical Sciences, both from the Eindhoven University of Technology. After his Ph.D. he worked as an associate professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology for 14 years. His activities included research, education and consultancy in the field of High-Voltage Engineering and EMC. In 1998 he joined KEMA as a senior consultant, in the field of condition assessment, asset management and EMC. From 2001 to 2006 he has held a management position. His expertise includes Asset and Maintenance Management, Condition Assessment and Diagnostics, Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation, Electromagnetic Fields and EMC. He has published over 90 scientific and professional publications.
