In many contemporary homes, the garden occupies a more central place in our home life. All kinds of grasses, plants, flowers, shrubs, trees and water features provide an oasis of calm in a natural environment. If there is enough space, benches, tables and chairs are placed here and there, slightly hidden from the rest of the garden to provide a brief escape from the stresses of daily life. The garden is often adorned with a terrace, with or without outdoor furniture, an awning or outdoor kitchen area with a barbecue and smoking oven. In good weather, it becomes an extension of our home. Of course, we also want to be able to use the garden and the terrace in the evening. To make it cosy, we may place torches in the grass, but this form of lighting is no match for electric lighting. This article explores the different possibilities.

After reading this article, I had to revert to the homepage, to make sure I was still on the Leonardo Energy website. This article does little to nothing to effectively address the issue of energy efficient lighting in the home and garden; and hardly seems in keeping with Leonardo Energy objectives.
