On April 2004, ECI, in conjunction with Fraunhofer, KULeuven and University of Coimbra, organised an event to present the report on High Efficiency Motor Systems.
High efficiency motor systems could save Europe 200 billion kWh of electricity consumption, reduce CO2 emissions by 100 million tonnes per year, reduce fuel imports for Europe by 6% and save industry over 20 billion euro per year in operating costs.
