World Sustainable Energy Days

From 28 February until 2 March 2007, the World Sustainable Energy Days will take place in Wels, Austria. It is the largest annual European conference in this field and a unique combination of energy efficiency and renewable energy events. The conference attracted 930 participants from 56 countries in 2006.

The European Energy Efficiency Conference will have a special focus on how public bodies, households, and private companies can reduce their energy costs and at the same time protect the environment. Topics will include, among others, new technologies, energy efficiency initiatives, white certificates, National Action Plans following the European directive, and performance certificates for buildings.
